Phoenix is blessed with two growing seasons - one in the spring, the second in the fall, and this is harvest time for the latter. Look at the beautiful, local, organic produce that is used in my True Food Kitchen restaurant. It is all from McClendon's Select Produce, an organic farm in a suburb of Phoenix. True Food Kitchen chef Michael Stebner shops at McClendon's booth at the farmers' market every Wednesday; it's at the Town and Country Shopping Center in Phoenix. The offerings at the market on a recent December afternoon were amazing.
