My Interview With Kevin Rose: Geek Health

Recently I visited with Kevin Rose of Digg.com at True Food Kitchen in Phoenix. We had a wonderful chat about health, tea, food and more.

Great listen(I usually move to other tabs with these)! Heard a tweet about Vit-D and knew K.Rose would be interested, then here's a interview! Awesome mention of turmeric! Never heard of the tea but I love making Dal and curries.

Fun interview. I am glad Dr. Weil mentioned Omega 3 from algae as an option for vegetarians. There are now algae-derived Omega 3 supplements with both DHA and EPA on the market, in vegetarian capsules.

Hmmm.. turmeric tea, huh? I live in Japan, but I have never heard of this. I've actually gotten some negative reactions with my curry which uses a lot of turmeric (typical Japanese curry is much much different from the Indian kind), so maybe this hasn't moved from Okinawa to the mainland. Wouldn't surprise me.. most folks here view the Okinawans as strange. haha. I'm going to have to try to find some of this stuff. Thanks for the great interview!!
