SORGHUM syrup. i get it locally made and it tastes a lot like honey but it doesnt depend on domesticated bee vomit. oh yeah. it has a good mineral/nutrient content,too!

I would like to add that Brown rice syrup is a great option when baking. During the holidays it has worked extremely well for recipes that call for Karo syrup and other sweeteners.
