I love yoga and the only way I can do it with my inflamation and arthritis is to do it in heated room. A room with high heat is a good thing, really does take the stiffness and the soreness out of the joints and mucles. It also helps me to adjust to the summer heat and it clears out my lungs and improves my breathing. I don't seem to mind the summer heat as much either. In the winter it helps me to stay warmer with the increased circulation of my whole body. Anyway, that is what I have noticed for me. I had to work up the heat slowly. When it gets to the right temprature for me to be able to stretch and enjoy it. I also get a soaking bath after, Water as warm as I can stand it, stay in till it starts turning cool. It brings my body back and it feels great. I put bath salts in and my favorite perfume and light a candle or three. It makes my day great with so much more positive energy and better attitude. I am able to move better and some days even without pain.
